Answers to common questions, and how to reach us.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the app, tap Get started and begin your first lesson. Your progress is saved on your device.

How do I add a learner for someone else?

Go to Profile, then Settings, then Manage learners. Each learner keeps their own progress, streak and settings. To remove a learner, swipe left on their name in the same list.

Why can’t I hear some lessons?

The first sounds come with the app, and the rest of the course audio downloads after you install it. Go to Profile, then Settings, then Manage downloads to check the download or start it again. Downloads need an internet connection and some free storage.

Can I learn offline?

Yes. Once the course has downloaded, every lesson works without a connection.

The app can’t hear me. How do I turn on the microphone?

Open the Settings app, tap Apps, then Learn Hindi, and turn on Microphone. You can also keep learning without speaking practice: tap Not now when the app asks.

Why don’t all words get pronunciation feedback?

Pronunciation feedback comes from a model that runs on your device. It recognises many Hindi sounds, but not yet all of them. For words it can’t check, the app plays the example and your recording so you can listen and compare.

Are my recordings stored or shared?

No. Recordings stay on your device and are deleted when your practice session ends. The privacy policy has the details.

How do I join the leaderboard?

Sign in to Game Center in the Settings app, then in Learn Hindi go to Profile, then Settings, then Game Center, and link a learner. One learner can be linked to each Game Center account.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone with iOS 26 or later, and iPad with iPadOS 26 or later.
